To my knowledge neither iPod nor Zune support FLAC. In fact, I don't know if there are any high-capacity hard-drive players currently on the market that support FLAC. There are plenty of flash-based players (Samsung, Sansa, Cowon, iRiver) that do, but your upward limit is probably 16 GB. My guess is you'll need at least 40 GB just for the CDs. To make that work, you'd need to forego lossless and maybe rip MP3s at a high bitrate like 320.

Since you're dealing with only 150 CDs, though, you could get a 120 GB iPod and store your CDs as larger WAV files --and probably still have room left over for your live music collection (although you'd have to convert the the FLAC files to WAV).
